Game 13 - Wyoming Area vs Lake Lehman
Ryan Webb pitched a gem against Lake Lehman striking out 6 pitching a shutout in 5 innings. He also drives in 3 runs and his team backed him with 7 other runs, winning 10-0 in 5. The Warriors played great defense and highlights include a 1st inning bases loaded strikeout to get out of the inning. Homza hustling in foul territory made a nice catch behind the 1st baseman. Mark m. Made a great catch in left and instantly gunned it into the cutoff preventing the runner on 3rd from scoring. A double play was turned on a grounder back to Webb to PJ at 2nd and Dylan K. Made a great dig at 1st to end the inning. The defense played great all across the board and the offense put up 10 with contributions from everyone showing that this is a team of We's not I's and will be special in the years to come. With a timely shutout and being able to conserve their pitching staff, Matt Wright, Cole Keating and Steve Homza and company if needed should be fresh enough to bring the Juniors home a Championship. It is theirs for the taking!
Game 11 --- Wyoming Area vs GAR

The Warriors traveled to Coal Street Park to play the Grenadiers on their home field. The Warriors crushed GAR in their first meeting, 15-0 in 4 innings but the Grenadiers put up a fight this time around. Wyoming Area went on to win 7-3, moving their record to 9-1, behind a great pitching outing from Matt Wright. Wright threw a complete game with 5 strikeouts. Mike Bonita led the offense going 3-4 with 2 RBIs and scoring 1 run. Steve Homza hit a double going 2-4 with 2 RBIs and scoring 1 run. Ryan Webb was 2-4 on the day, picking up an RBI and scoring twice, while Marc Minichello went 2-2 with an RBI. PJ Angeli and Max Reynolds each singled with Angeli scoring a run. Dylan Kostak and Matt Selinski added to the run total by each scoring a run.

Game 10 --- Wyoming Area vs Northwest
Wyoming Area made the long trip to Northwest and came home with a big win, 19-7. Cole Keating had a great outing on the mound, pitching 5 1/3 innings and throwing 7 strikeouts. Ryan Webb came in to finish the game throwing 1 2/3 innings with 1 strikeout. Keating was on fire offensively as well, going 5-5 with a double, 3 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. Marc Minichello had a great day at the plate going 4-5 with 2 hard hit triples, 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. Another offensive leader for the day was Colin Barletta, who went 4-4 with an RBI and scoring 2 runs. Mike Bonita, Matt Selinski and Webb all chipped in with 2 hits each. Bonita gained 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs, Selinski picked up 3 RBIs and Webb scored 4 runs. Max Reynolds smashed a double and scored a run. Nick Athmann and Jason Mapes each singled with Athmann getting an RBI and scoring a run. PJ Angeli hit a sac fly to gain an RBI, while aaron Lee scored twice and Matt Wright crossed the plate once.
Exhibition - Wyoming Area vs Crestwood

The mid-season exhibition on the Warriors home field was an exciting game that ended in a 2-2 tie after 8 innings. Tanner Williams pitched the first 4 innings throwing 3 strikeouts and Dlyan Kostak threw the last 4 innings with 2 strikeouts. Colin Barletta went 2-4 on the day. Kostak was 1-3 scoring a run and gaining an RBI while Matt Selinski also was 1-3 with a run. Jason Mapes, Nick Athman, and Max Reynolds each singled for the Warrior offense. Klay Kennedy and Kyle Musto were solid on defense for WA.

Game 9- Wyoming Area vs Nanticoke
Wyoming Area picked up a hard fought win to move their record to 8-1. Homza pitched 5 innings with 5 strikeouts and Ryan Webb came in relief, pitching 2 innings with 3 strikeouts in the Warriors 4-2 win over the Trojans. Mike Bonita run went 2-3 on the day and scored 2 runs. Steve Homza and Aaron Lee each had a hit and gained an RBI. Dylan Kostak went 1-3 and scored a run. Tanner Williams, Matt Silinskie and PJ Angeli each had a single. Colin Barletta scored a run in the win.
Game 8 -- Wyoming Area vs Meyers
Matt Wright pitched a great game throwing a 2 hitter with 8 strikeouts to get the win for the Warriors, 7-0. Wright also chipped in on offense going 1-2 with a triple, scoring a run and gaining an RBI. Cole Keating lead the offense going 3-3 with an RBI an scoring 2. Marc Minichello and Aaron Lee both had 2 hits and scored a run, with Minichello also picking up an RBI. Tanner Williams and Dylan Kostak each went 1-1, Williams doubled, and each picked up 2 RBIs. Ryan Webb and Steve Homza each had a hit and scored a run, while Mike Bonita had a single. The 9Warriors record moved to 7-1.
Game 7 --- Wyoming Area vs Hanover; WA loses 9-4

Wyoming Area played a tough Hawkeyes team on Friday as they played their 3rd game in as many days. The Warriors traveled to Hanover where they suffered their first loss of the season, 9-4. This puts their record at 6-1. Cole Keating and Matt Wright pitched, combining for 3 strikeouts. Steve Homza went 1-2 picking up an RBI and scoring a run. Mike Bonita was 1-4 on the day, gaining an RBI and scoring a run. Dylan Kostak went 1-1 with an RBI. Matt Wright and Aaron Lee each had a hit and scored a run. Tanner Williams and Marc Minichello each singled in the loss.

Game 6 - Wyoming Area vs GAR; WA wins 15-0
The Warriors jumped out to an early lead in the first inning scoring 9 runs. They would score 6 more in the next 3 innings ending the game in the 4th. The 15-0 win put the Warriors record at 6-0. Matt Wright and Steve Homza combined for a no-hitter with each striking out 1 batter. Ryan Webb stayed hot going 2-3 with 1 RBI and scoring a run. Cole Keating was 1-3 gaining 2 RBIs and scoring 2 runs while PJ Angeli went 1-2 with a hard hit double and scored 2 runs. Tanner Williams and Matt Wright each had a single, collected 2 RBIs and scored a run. The rest of the scoring came from Mike Bonita who scored 3, Steve Homza scoring 2 and Matt Selinski who scored 2 runs and picked up an RBI.
Game 5 - Wyoming Area vs Meyers: WA wins 9-6

The Warriors traveled to Meyers and played a tough game that went 9 innings with the Warriors coming out on top, 9-6. This win keeps the Warriors unbeaten so far this season. Ryan Webb was the starter, pitching 5 innings with 4 strikeouts. PJ Angeli came in as relief, pitching 1 inning with a strikeout followed by Cole Keating who pitched 3 innings with 4 strikeouts. Steve Homza lead the offense going 3-3 with 3 doubles, 2 RBIs and scoring a run. Keating went 2-4, blasting a triple to the fence, gaining an RBI and scoring a run. Webb went 2-3 and Marc Minichello was 1-3 with each scoring 2 runs. Tanner Williams, Aaron Lee and Angeli each had a hit with Lee picking up an RBI and Angeli scoring. Mike Bonita and Matt Wright each scored a run in the extra inning win.

April 17 - JH Move to 5-0 with 9-6 Win over Meyers in 9 innings.
Warriors junior high show their heart with a gritty win in 9 innings. The Warriors winning 6-0 behind a great pitching performance by Ryan Webb stumbled a little in the 6th but after being forced into extra innings they pulled together as a team and everyone doing their Jobs scored 3 runs in the 9th and keating slammed the door shut for another warriors win.
April 14 - Wyoming Area Tops Lake Lehman, 16-5. Move to 4-0
Wyoming Area had a rough first inning getting behind early, but came back strong to pick up the winover Lehman, 16-5. Cole Keating was the winning pitcher throwing 3 innings with 3 strikeouts and Steve Homza pitched 4 innings with 3 strikeouts. Keating also smashed a triple going 4-5, scoring 2 runs and getting 2 RBIs. Ryan Webb, Matt Selinski and Homza all went 2-4, each scoring 2 runs with 2RBIs - Homza and Selinski each had a double. Matt Wright went 2-4 with 2 doubles, 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Mike Bonita was 3-4 scoring 2 runs. Dylan Kostak and Colin Barletta both went 1-1, each scoring a run, while Barletta picked up an RBI and Kostak gained 2 RBIs. Marc Minichello went 1-3 and PJ Angeli went 2-4, each picking up an RBI. Tanner Williams hit a double going 1-1, while Aaron Lee and Max Reynolds each scored a run.
April 11 - Wright leads Warriors to 10-0 Victory over Nanticoke Area
Matt Wright was on fire Saturday at Shoemaker Field pitching a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts to lead Wyoming Area to their third win over Nanticoke, 10-0, in six innings. Matt Selinski lead the offense going 2-2 (1 double) with 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Cole Keating chipped in going 2-3, scoring 2 runs and an RBI while PJ Angeli went 3-3 (1 double) with an RBI. Mike Bonita had the third extra base hit of the day, a double, going 1-3 and scoring 1 run. Kyle Musto added a run going 1-1, while Wright and Aaron Lee both went 0-2 but scored 1 and 2 runs respectively. Homza, Ryan Webb and Colin Barletta each chipped in with a single.
April 10 - Webb leads Warriors to 11-3 Win over Rangers
WA beat NW, 11- 3, on Thursday. Ryan Webb got the win pitching 4 plus innings with 3 strike-outs. Steve Homza came in for relief. A defensive highlight of the game was a stretch diving catch by PJ Angeli at short stop to end the 6th. Leading the offense was Steve Homza who went 2-2, scoring 2 runs with 1 RBI, Aaron Lee 2-3, scoring 1 run with 2 RBIs and Cole Keating1-2 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Matt Wright went 0-1 and Ryan Webb was 0-3 but each scored a run and had an RBI. Mike Bonita was 2-5 and PJ Angeli went 1-3 (doubled), each scoring a run. Kyle Musto was 0-1 and Colin Barletta went 0-2 with each adding a run to the board. Max Reynolds chipped in with a single.
April 2 - Warriors Win Opener over Holy Redeemer, 5-4
The Warriors Jr. High team got the win over Holy Redeemer in their season home opener on Wednesday 4/2. Although they started out a little slow, they were on fire in the 4th scoring 3 runs to take the lead. The Warriors held on for the 5-4 win. Matt Wright and Cole Keating combined on the mound for 7 strike-outs and Keating earned the win. Steven Homza went 3-3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Mike Bonita went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and Ryan Webb went 3-3 with 1 RBI. Keating went 2-3 with 1 RBI and PJ Angeli chipped in going 1-2 with 1 RBI before leaving the game with an injury. - Jennifer Bonita
